City, State and Federal regulations require that businesses post certain signs within their establishments. Use the NYC Checklist for Required Signs for Restaurants and Bars to help you get the signs you need.
No smoking signs are required for all indoor public spaces by the NYC Smoke-Free Air Act.
It is required that all commercial businesses within New York City recycle. As such, businesses are required to prominently post signs notifying both employees and customers about what and how to recycle.
The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) requires that all businesses that make deliveries by bicycle post a sign describing bicycle safety procedures.
