License renewal payments can be made online via the LARS (License Applications, Renewals and Summonses) System.
All other vehicle types licensed by the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), including For Hire Vehicles, Commuter Vans, and Paratransit Vehicles, require other individual operating licenses. For additional information about TLC requirements, visit the NYC Business Express Index, the TLC website, or one of the TLC Licensing Centers.
All required documents listed above must be submitted with a completed application form to the TLC Licensing Department at our Queens location. For the location of the Taxi and Limousine Commissions Queens office where the application must be filed please refer to the Contact Information Section below.
Fees must be submitted along with the application form. All fees are non-refundable.
The license application, required documents, and fees must be filed in person at a TLC Licensing center from Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
